Atlanta Public Schools Facilities Plan 2025
GET INFORMED & TAKE ACTION
Take the APS Facilities Plan Scenarios survey by Sept 15
What’s going on?
Atlanta Public Schools is considering major changes to schools across the district as part of its 2025 Comprehensive Facilities Plan. The goal is to address declining enrollment, underused buildings, and funding challenges.
Some schools may be repurposed or closed to reduce the 20,000 empty seats across Atlanta Public Schools. This would involve redrawing attendance boundaries and shifting students to other schools.
Time is running out for the community to provide input.
Speak up! Reach out to your PTA, email your district board member, email the superintendent, hang flyers, talk to parents, and most importantly: attend the community meetings.
